[12:22] <Liza Sunrise-Suminaka> [Blackout] My Chateaux ensured that I'd be ready to be a companion to a Time Lord, and I'm quite competent at it. I can recall many adventures, if you like, but I very often do second-line things. As such, especially during long-term deployments and situations, having one's attention drift can be disastrous.
[12:22] <Liza Sunrise-Suminaka> [Blackout] Fortunately, during Emergency Situations, I don't have to worry at all that my attention will drift away from Chateaux and my Time Lord friends. ^_^

Although, normally, the purpose of a TARDIS avatar is to perform that coordination with the ability to project information and run the systems, we can do that in our own way, for a time.

[12:50] <Liza Sunrise-Suminaka> [Blackout] The first possibility is that I've currently, or have been, under the influence of some lovely medicine, whether chemical or psychological, that's affecting my perception of time, and we've been having this conversation in snippets, for longer than I suspect, with you speaking to me each time I wake up.

[12:51] <Liza Sunrise-Suminaka> [Blackout] Well, there's no reason as of yet to assume that what you have said is untrue, so we move on to the next possibility.
[12:53] <Liza Sunrise-Suminaka> [Blackout] The next possibility is that, as I'm undergoing sensory deprivation right now, my curse is active, and my point defense systems are just shooting down projectiles and shrapnel, and moving me out of the way or blocking injuries to me and others, and Chateaux doesn't see fit to pass that on to my senses. Obviously, she can filter my hearing and smell and touch, as well as my vision, so it might all be happening and I'm just unaware. You said you weren't suppressing it, and this has been continuous, so there's no contraindications for this theory yet.
