[03:15] <Indigo> My extended family however, is far more curious to observe.
[03:17] <Indigo> Pardon me if I'm vague but one of my cousins is notorious for her many mistakes. I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw her. Last time she was spiraling downward and blissfully unaware.

[03:17] <Indigo> Blissful to her and her immediate. Not in the eyes of some others, however.
[03:18] <Indigo> This time she seemed on that upward hill of maybe being alright.

[03:19] <Indigo> I think it's the latter.
[03:19] <Indigo> I thought she hit rock bottom a year ago. She proved me wrong in November.

[03:21] <Indigo> Honestly I can't be fully sure, she and I barely speak outside of these get together things.
[03:21] <Indigo> I think right now she's doing what's good for her but she's forgetting that she has a child she needs to take care of.
[03:22] <Indigo> And well, my immediate family focuses on the latter part and will make it clear when no one else is listening.
[03:22] <Indigo> I'm a bit more optimistic.
[03:23] <Indigo> I think it's funny that she passes by me every weekend and has yet to even consider saying hello. But it's usually long past a normal time to talk.
[03:24] <Indigo> I would likely let her in and chat for a bit.
[03:25] <Indigo> We have a context that would require a lot more than one night to fully explain.
[03:26] <Indigo> She was really the only family member that stuck out in my mind of the weekend. I had an aunt that surprised everyone with the revelation that the person we thought was terrible was actually not that bad and the person who we thought was good for her was actually terrible.

[03:28] <Indigo> That's really it. Immediate family was frustrating but I've come to accept this and move on. Started working on little mantras when they rub me the wrong way.
